  1. How many equal parts the whole is cut intoThe bottom number, the denominator, is how many equal parts the whole was divided into.
  2. 1/2Cutting a roti into 2 gives bigger pieces than cutting it into 4, so 1/2 is bigger.
  3. 9Half means splitting into two equal parts: 18 ÷ 2 = 9.
  4. 4/4When the top and bottom numbers are the same, you have the whole thing.
