How to work out the 5 table
The trick: Take the 10 table and halve it. 10 × 6 is 60, so 5 × 6 is 30.
The pattern: The answers end 5, 0, 5, 0 all the way down: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.

- 155 × 3 means 5 added 3 times, which makes 15.
- 355 × 7 means 5 added 7 times, which makes 35.
- 455 × 9 means 5 added 9 times, which makes 45.
- 6Count up in 5s until you reach 30, or divide: 30 ÷ 5 = 6.
- 25Each step adds 5. After 20 comes 20 + 5 = 25.
