How to work out the 8 table
The trick: Double three times. For 8 × 6: 6 → 12 → 24 → 48.
The pattern: The last digits go 8, 6, 4, 2, 0 and then repeat: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48.

- 568 × 7 means 8 added 7 times, which makes 56.
- 728 × 9 means 8 added 9 times, which makes 72.
- 6Count up in 8s until you reach 48, or divide: 48 ÷ 8 = 6.
- 40Each step adds 8. After 32 comes 32 + 8 = 40.
