How to work out the 6 table

The trick: The 6 table is the 3 table doubled. 3 × 7 is 21, so 6 × 7 is 42.

The pattern: When you multiply 6 by an even number, the answer ends in that number: 6 × 4 = 24, 6 × 8 = 48.
