Read the passage
Mr Patel owned a small sweet shop at the corner of Khar Street. Every morning he opened early and swept the entrance before the first customer arrived. He was known for giving full weight and never cheating on price.
One day a rich businessman came in and bought a box of ladoos. At the counter, Mr Patel noticed one ladoo inside was cracked. He took out that ladoo and put in a good one instead, refusing to take extra money.
The businessman walked out without saying much. A few weeks passed. Then the businessman returned, not to buy sweets, but to offer Mr Patel a job running his new cafe in the next street.
"You were honest when you did not have to be," said the businessman. "I want that honesty running my business." Mr Patel accepted, and the cafe became the busiest in the area.
